Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor for its Andover, MA facility. You will lead a 15–20 person Cables operations team in a fast-paced environment to meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements while promoting a safe work environment.

This role requires daily collaboration with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and the program management office, and emphasizes achieving cost, quality, delivery and safety goals using lean/Six Sigma

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Supervisory, leadership and/or manufacturing experience is required.

Execution Operations (XOPS) has a need for 3rd Shift Production Supervisor at its Andover, MA facility. This position has overall responsibility for the Cables operations team consisting of 15-20 employees. This individual will lead a team of people in a fast paced and dynamic environment to meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of work. This individual will also be responsible for a safe work environment and will lead and engage in safety improvement projects.

This role requires daily interaction with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and the program management office. Achieving/exceeding cost, quality, delivery, and safety goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using six sigma and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Supervisory, leadership and/or manufacturing experience is required.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience working in and/or guiding a Machine/Assembly shop, supervising bargaining unit employees with minimal supervision.
• Experience assigning, managing, and measuring work assignments to completion.
• Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean / six sigma implementation projects.
• Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering experience in the aerospace/defense industry.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access) and/or SAP.

Compensation The salary range for this role is $86,800 USD - $165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
