Job summary

Viwinco Windows is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team in our vinyl shop, directing daily activities, ensuring safety, and driving continuous improvement to meet production goals.

The successful candidate will mentor staff, optimize workflows, and sustain high quality while maintaining strong communication with management and team members. This hands-on role requires a proactive leader with a focus on efficiency and team development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles to drive efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Self-motivated with urgency and integrity, bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct team activities to meet daily/weekly production schedules.
• Enforce safety policies and promote good housekeeping.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and improve quality.
• Train, develop, and motivate team members to maximize performance.
• Address performance issues, including disciplinary actions when needed.
• Monitor attendance and manage time-off requests for adequate coverage.
• Coordinate material flow to meet production demands.
• Lead daily team meetings communicating expectations and goals.
• Provide regular feedback and collaborate on solutions to meet targets.
• Maintain production and personnel documentation and reports.
• Address bottlenecks to maintain workflow.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Production Supervisor in our Vinyl shop to lead and coordinate a team in our manufacturing facility. This individual will be responsible for planning and assigning work, maintaining safe and efficient operations, and driving continuous improvement efforts to meet production goals. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can motivate teams, resolve issues, and maintain a high standard of quality and productivity.

• Plan, organize, and direct team activities to meet daily and weekly production schedules
• Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and promoting good housekeeping
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
• Train, develop, and motivate team members to maximize performance and engagement
• Enforce company policies and address performance concerns, including administering disciplinary actions as needed
• Monitor attendance and manage time-off requests to ensure adequate coverage
• Facilitate effective material flow to meet production demands
• Lead daily team meetings to communicate expectations, schedules, and goals
• Provide regular feedback on team performance and collaborate on solutions to meet or exceed targets
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to production and personnel
• Proactively address production issues and bottlenecks to maintain workflow
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, assembly line production environment
• Demonstrated ability to train and develop employees effectively
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and strong sense of urgency
• Leads by example with professionalism and integrity
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
