Job summary

FairchildHR, LLC in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Production Planner to drive manufacturing schedules as NetSuite rolls out. You will build Bills of Materials, set standards and own process improvements on the shop floor.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing with MRP/MES, NetSuite preferred, strong Excel, and a proven ability to run the planning department independently.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing using MRP/MES programs, NetSuite preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Conversant in production planning, BOM's, routings and yield.
• Finite capacity scheduling experience and ability to run the planning department independently.

A fast-growing, Jacksonville manufacturer is rolling out NetSuite. Now they need the planner who will make it work on the floor. As the Manufacturing Production Planner, you will build the schedules, set the standards and own the process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) and routings
• Schedule production in NetSuite using finite scheduling, and plan for and communicate shutdowns, maintenance, schedule changes and supply problems
• Create, modify and streamline materials ordering, storage and use to support production
• Determine capacity, track production and analyze actual versus standards to determine efficiencies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing using MRP/MES programs, NetSuite preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Conversant in production planning, BOM's, routings and yield
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including reports and pivot tables
• Finite capacity scheduling experience
• Confident decision maker able to run the planning department independently
