M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Production Leader to optimize our production value stream from raw materials to finished goods. You will drive continuous improvement, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure quality and efficiency across the line.

The role requires strong leadership in manufacturing, expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, and a proven track record in operational excellence within a fast-growing campus environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management or related field with 5+ years of experience.
Proven leadership in manufacturing with value stream focus.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end manufacturing value stream from raw materials to delivery.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize value stream efficiency and reduce lead times.
Drive continuous improvement and waste reduction using Lean Six Sigma.
Collaborate with production, quality, engineering and supply chain.
Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team.
Ensure products meet quality standards and maintain QC procedures.
Manage resources and coordinate with procurement for a stable supply chain.
Contribute to long-term manufacturing strategy and capacity planning.

Manufacturing Production Leader

As a Manufacturing Production Leader, you will be a key driver in optimizing our production processes, ensuring efficiency and maximizing value for our customers. This leadership role involves overseeing the end-to-end manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished products, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Value Stream Management

Take ownership of the entire manufacturing value stream, overseeing all processes from raw material acquisition to product delivery.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize value stream efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance overall productivity.

Continuous Improvement

Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the manufacturing value stream.
Identify opportunities for waste reduction, process optimization, and cost savings.
Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to achieve operational excellence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, engineering, and supply chain, to ensure seamless coordination within the value stream.
Foster strong communication and collaboration to address challenges and capitalize on improvement opportunities.

Performance Monitoring

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the value stream and regularly monitor and report on performance metrics.
Implement data-driven decision-making processes to identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team within the value stream.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and individual growth.
Provide coaching and support to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Quality Assurance

Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that products meet or exceed established quality standards.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures within the value stream.

Resource Optimization

Manage resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production demands.
Collaborate with procurement to ensure a stable and cost-effective supply chain.

Strategic Planning

Contribute to the development of long‑term manufacturing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Identify opportunities for capacity expansion and improvements in manufacturing technology.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field with 5+ years of experience.
Proven experience in a leadership role within manufacturing, with a focus on value stream management.
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve operational excellence.
