Overview

Description Manufacturing Production Design Engineer At CTech Manufacturing, we pride ourselves on designing and building innovative, high-quality storage solutions. We are looking for a Production Design Engineer to join our growing team and help bridge the gap between product design and efficient, scalable manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to support production.
  • Create and maintain accurate 2D/3D models, drawings, and specifications.
  • Partner with product development teams to ensure designs are efficient for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and implement solutions.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by transitioning designs into production-ready processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Document procedures and support training of production teams.
Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods such as machining, fabrication, and assembly.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methods is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
