Job summary

The Hunter Company in Westminster, CO is seeking a motivated individual to assemble custom leather holsters and support fast-paced manufacturing operations. This onsite, full-time role offers opportunities to learn and grow within a long-established Colorado leather goods business.

Responsibilities include cutting, shaping, and sewing leather, operating machinery, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

  • Experience cutting, shaping, and molding leather holsters.
  • Ability to operate machinery and hand tools used in production.
  • Sewing experience is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving during production processes.
  • Meet production time guidelines for various steps.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and finish custom leather holsters for production lines.
  • Assist warehouse/manufacturing tasks as needed.
  • Perform quality checks on finished holsters.
  • Follow safety practices and use provided equipment.
  • Communicate holster model requirements with team.

Colorado Saddlery has been building high quality saddles since 1945. We also manufacture and build pack saddles, panniers, and many many other horse tack items.

The Work:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who holds themselves to high standards when it comes to quality and innovation. We need a creative and skilled individual to assemble custom leather holsters and help assist warehouse manufacturing needs. We are a fast-growing company ensuring the opportunity to those with the motivation to take initiative and learn new skills to advance within the company.

Qualifications:

  • Cut, shape and mold top grain leather holsters.
  • Operate machinery, assembly tools, and equipment.
  • Sewing experience is a plus.
  • Problem Solve issues that arise during production.
  • Meet established time guidelines for various steps and projects.
  • Perform quality control inspection of finished products.
  • Utilize provided safety equipment and adhere to best practices.
  • Communicate well with the team regarding holster models to fit specific guns.
  • Must have a reliable source of transportation.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields.
  • Able to work in a fast paced hands-on environment.
  • Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.

Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

  • Health, dental, vision, LT disability, and life insurance available after 90 continuous days of employment.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
