Your Job

Our Georgia-Pacific facility in Warrenton, GA is currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Manufacturing Production Associates. Multiple positions are available across all levels! These roles support machine operators by learning to operate lumber production equipment, as well as general housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Salary:
  • Our starting pay is a minimum of $19/hr., with potential increases based on experience.
  • You can increase your compensation based on skills and contribution to the overall performance of the mill.
Shift:
  • 12-hour rotating shifts (3-week cycle)
Shift Hours:

5:45 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. or 5:45 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.

  • Work Sunday to Wednesday (day shift)
  • Off Thursday to Saturday (day shift, if needed)
  • Work Tuesday to Friday (night shift)
  • Off Saturday to Monday (night shift)
  • Work Thursday to Friday (day shift)
  • Off Saturday (cycle repeats)
What You Will Do
  • Learn to operate equipment safely to relieve operators when needed
  • Cross-train on various machines to increase operational knowledge
  • Perform general housekeeping around saws, conveyors, and stackers to keep machinery functioning properly and promote safety
  • Wear safety equipment including glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots, and other PPE as required
  • Work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed
  • Work in a hot, cold, humid, noisy industrial environment, adhering to safety rules while performing tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, climbing, and standing
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, farming, warehouse, or military environment OR completion of related technical training/schooling

What Will Put You Ahead

* At least six months of experience in a related environment OR completion of related technical training

* One year of experience operating a Hyster or Taylor forklift
