Steel & Metal Systems in Blackshear, GA is hiring an entry-level Manufacturing Production Worker to setup and operate metal-forming equipment and assembly lines for building parts and roll-up doors. Training is provided and growth opportunities are available in a fast-paced, safety-first environment.

Candidates should be reliable, able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate effectively in English. Forklift exposure is a plus in this role as part of the production team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions in a diverse workforce.
• Prior forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure within 1/16th of an inch.
• Commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Production Worker is a multi-functional role thatis responsible forsetting up and operating equipmentin the process of fabricatingmetal building parts or assembling metal roll-up doors or operation of other metal-forming type machines. Forklift experience is a plus.

This is an entry level role with training provided and growth opportunities.
