Job summary

Aivres in Milpitas, CA seeks an experienced MPE specialist to drive New Product Introduction and Mass Production program management on the manufacturing floor. You will coordinate with R&D, QA, process engineering, and production teams to ensure smooth transitions from prototype to high-volume production.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, process optimization, and manufacturability improvements to meet quality and schedule targets.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the new product introduction process from R&D to mass production on the production line.
• Lead manufacturing tasks during NPI including diagnostics, PCB, PMC, equipment, IE, and quality.
• Lead the engineering development of new products, including process development and label design.
• Lead and complete initial production, pre-production trials, and small batch production activities.
• Complete DFM checks during product development and drive improvements with R&D.

MPE (Manufacturing Product Engineering) Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

New Product Introduction Management:

• Lead the new product introduction process, ensuring a smooth transition of products from R&D to mass production on the production line.
• Lead the supply manufacturing tasks during the new product introduction process, including NPI, diagnostics, PCB, PMC, equipment, IE, quality, and other related fields.
• Lead the engineering development of new products, including process development and custom label/sticker design.
• Lead and complete the initial production of new products, pre-production trials, and small batch production activities.
• Complete DFM (Design for Manufacturability) checks during product development, identify manufacturability issues, and drive improvements with R&D to resolve them.

Mass Production Product Management:

• Write customized production instructions.
• Solve process issues and provide technical support to production lines.
• Lead the transfer of mass production products to new factories, ensuring the product can be mass-produced at other facilities.
• Provide technical support for other project requirements.

This position requires in-depth knowledge of the new product introduction process, the ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with various departments, and the capability to solve technical and process issues during production. A background in electronics, mechanical engineering, or related engineering fields is required. At least 5+ years of relevant project experience is needed. Experience in the server industry is preferred.
