Qualifications

• Advanced English level.
• Experience supporting new product introduction and product lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience with direct management of employees and team development.
• Experience with global manufacturing operations and outsourced partners is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of product engineering and manufacturing professionals, typically overseeing 8-15 direct reports.
• Own product engineering activities across multiple product lines, achieving key metrics like quality, cost, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Partner with R&D, NPI, Supply Chain, Quality, Reliability, Test Engineering, and factory operations to transition products to high-volume manufacturing.
• Coordinate and lead internal and outsourced manufacturing partners throughout the product lifecycle from NPI to end-of-life.
• Drive root cause analysis and resolution of quality, reliability, yield, and manufacturing issues.
• Evaluate customer feedback and manufacturing data to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
• Lead product sustainment initiatives including cost reduction and yield improvement projects.
• Represent engineering and manufacturing in cross-functional reviews, escalations, and strategic planning.
• Ensure delivery of products and services meeting performance expectations set by leadership.
• Drive operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain supply continuity and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems.
• Influence strategic decisions by providing technical, operational, and business recommendations to leadership.

Job Description:

The Manufacturing Product Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team of product engineers and manufacturing professionals to successfully introduce, manufacture, and sustain products throughout their lifecycle. This role serves as the primary interface between R&D, New Product Introduction (NPI), Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Test Engineering, and external manufacturing partners to ensure successful product launches, operational excellence, superior quality, cost competitiveness, and continuous improvement. The manager drives strategic and tactical execution across multiple product lines while developing organizational capability and delivering business performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of product engineering and manufacturing professionals, typically overseeing 8-15 direct reports.
• Own product engineering activities across multiple product lines, ensuring achievement of key business metrics including quality, cost, delivery, inventory, yield, and customer satisfaction.
• Partner with R&D, NPI, Supply Chain, Quality, Reliability, Test Engineering, and factory operations teams to successfully transition products from development into high-volume manufacturing.
• Coordinate and lead internal and outsourced manufacturing partners throughout the entire product lifecycle, from New Product Introduction through end-of-life.
• Drive root cause analysis and resolution of product quality, reliability, yield, and manufacturing issues.
• Evaluate customer feedback, manufacturing data, test results, and quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
• Lead product sustainment initiatives, including cost reduction programs, yield improvement projects, and manufacturing process optimization.
