Job summary
A staffing professional firm in West Columbia is seeking a Technical Recruiter to support engineering technicians in manufacturing assembly processes. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience or 5 years without a degree, with strong communication skills and a background in manufacturing. This hands-on role offers a pay range of $24.00/hr - $32.50/hr and includes health benefits and PTO.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience with an Associate degree, or 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience without a degree.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively on the production floor.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and improving assembly processes.
- Participate in creating assembly instructions and work procedures.
- Help identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for assembly-related issues.
- Work closely with assemblers to diagnose problems.
- Collaborate with departments to resolve production challenges.
- Monitor assembly quality and performance.
- Provide on-the-job training to assemblers.
Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Basic familiarity with CAD software
Problem-solving ability
Education
Associate degree in a technical or manufacturing discipline
