Job Title: Measurement Process Technician

Base pay range

Responsibilities
Role will be focused on developing digital measurement programs and product characterization for the WATCHMAN device.
It will be a hands-on role for a high priority project in development.
Interpreting device, tooling, and component prints to understand inspection requirements.
Determining pass/fail dispositioning of parts based on measurement results.
Sorting measurement data in Microsoft Excel and calculating simple statistics, conditional formatting, and pivot tables.
Assisting engineers and senior technicians in conducting experiments. Includes varying process inputs and testing for different outputs.
Generating measurement programs with digital measurement systems. Specific systems include but are not limited to Keyence IM/LM/VHX, SmartScope, and Cognex.
Familiarity with different software tools and good practices for developing inspection recipes is a plus. Examples include the use of datums, pattern matching tools, and automated vs operator assisted inspections.
Collaboration with technicians, engineers, and operators to understand the best next steps for the project.
Education/Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience

Someone experienced in digital measurement systems
Medical device or regulatory environment experience
Preferred
Experience working with and writing programs for digital measurement equipment including Keyence IM/LM/VHX, Cognex cameras and software, SmartScope, etc.
Experience in fully automated and operator assisted measurement programs
Understanding of vision systems and logic
Understanding of GD&T
