Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to translate designs into clear guidance for assembly and operations teams on the shop floor.

Youll author and maintain build content, setup sheets, and engineering memos to keep operators productive and safe. You will safeguard product integrity across development, production release, and mature products while evaluating new equipment to boost throughput and quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred, or 5+ years in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on background in a machining setting with exposure to complex assemblies.
  • Experience with technical design elements; CAD or direct CNC machining experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor of Technology in Engineering with 2+ years of relevant technical experience will also be accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Author and maintain build content: create and update formal work instructions, assembly sheets, setup sheets, MPPs, and engineering memos so operators can run efficiently and safely.
  • Safeguard product integrity: ensure quality and conformance across development, production release, and long-running, mature products.
  • Advance capability: evaluate and help implement new equipment to meet production requirements; travel to vendors to scout technologies that lift throughput and quality.
  • Drive measurable results: track key company and department metrics, then help implement improvements that move the numbers in the right direction.
  • Triage and resolve issues: provide direction and close the loop via email and other established channels to remove production roadblocks quickly.
  • Collaborate with customers: join weekly technical discussions focused on design and manufacturing changes or improvements.
  • Champion new product introduction (NPI): visit customers to explore opportunities and align on manufacturability needs.
  • Stay flexible: periodically work additional hours to meet program milestones and product demand.

Step onto the floor and shape how products come to lifeReport directly to the Site Manager and become the go-to engineering voice for assigned product lines. Your day begins on the manufacturing floor, where you translate designs into clear, usable guidance for assembly and operations teams.
