Wieland in Shelbyville, KY is seeking a Process Leader to guide hourly production teams in safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role focuses on developing people, driving process performance, and communicating priorities across shifts to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated interest in manufacturing leadership, production operations, process improvement, or technical problem-solving.
• Ability to lead, coach, and communicate with hourly employees in a clear, respectful, and consistent manner.
• Strong analytical ability, including interpreting production data and recognizing abnormal conditions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
• Williness to learn ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Strong ownership, organization, and sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop hourly production employees; set clear expectations and provide timely feedback.
• Manage daily production execution to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals with cross-shift communication.
• Monitor process performance, equipment conditions, staffing, downtime, and schedule attainment; identify issues and support corrective actions.
• Use ERP systems and production reporting tools to communicate priorities and document shift activity.
• Apply structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methods to improve performance and discipline.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards and treat employees with respect.
