Job summary

Green Circle Growers in Oberlin, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Process Lead responsible for planning and monitoring our production processes. You will analyze data to improve efficiency, troubleshoot PLC-equipped machinery, and support equipment installations and maintenance.

You will train technicians, communicate daily tasks, and ensure safety standards while maintaining production quality and timely changeovers across shifts.

Qualifications

• Two-year electrical degree or technical certificate with 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of PLC ladder logic, VSDs, and VFDs.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, construction, testing, and troubleshooting of new equipment installations and perform operational tests to ensure optimum equipment function.
• Create and assist in training technicians and implementing new procedures as production evolves.
• Assist in the operation of machinery necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Facilitate equipment inspections and maintenance daily to ensure production quality.
• Adhere and promote safety policies and procedures in equipment operation.
• Assess, set up, and monitor quality outputs against standards to adjust or reset the equipment before and after each production shift.
• Ensure the changeover of machinery according to a production schedule.
• Create and maintain activity logs to report to management.
• Maintain inventory of materials.
• All other duties as assigned.
