Job summary

Prysmian Group in California is seeking a New Process Introduction Engineer to lead technology transfer from a sister facility in France, driving industrialization, yield optimization, and production readiness across multiple sites.

You will own process documentation, coordinate machine, software, and recipe changes, travel internationally up to 10%, and partner with global teams to drive continuous improvement and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering roles.
  • B.S. in Engineering.
  • Willingness to travel to European factories.
  • Fluent in French.
  • Ability to work with global teams and cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and deploy processes into production that have been developed in an R&D setting.
  • Industrialize processes to the point that they meet productivity and yield targets before transferring to plant production.
  • Develop/Translate process documentation relating to new or modified processes.
  • Coordinate equipment/software/recipe modifications for new processes during rollout.
  • Travel to other manufacturing sites several times per year (travel typically less than 10%).
  • Collaborate with engineers at international Prysmian plants to resolve process problems.
  • Become a lead contributor to the global process control team and drive change.
  • Report to R&D Leadership in Douvrin, France and uphold safety and ISO14001 guidelines.
