Job summary

Prysmian Group's Sedalia operation in Missouri seeks a Process Engineering Manager to lead the engineering department and advance safety, quality and productivity improvements. You will collaborate with the leadership team to plan and direct engineering activities, industrialize new products, materials and processes, and ensure the facility can meet demand in the growing power distribution market.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
5 years of process engineering or process management experience.
Continuous improvement training and experience (Six Sigma, Kaizen, Gemba, DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, Heijunka).
Excellent team-building and leadership abilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to manage complex tasks with strong prioritization and strategic decision-making.
Strong communication skills to motivate and drive continuous improvement across teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the plant Continuous Improvement (C.I.) program and CI Council; organize events and training.
Design, develop, and maintain process lines within the operation.
Ensure material specifications support highest quality products.
Forecast, manage, and coordinate project budgets and schedules.
