Job summary

SIMPLY STAFFED is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer in Decorah, IA to develop, maintain, and improve production processes ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to drive stable, repeatable manufacturing outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 4–7 years of hands-on experience with lean manufacturing, process capability, and capital projects, and are hands-on in guiding teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 4–7 years in manufacturing/process engineering.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.
• Ability to analyze data and implement corrective actions in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations by monitoring process performance and addressing issues.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, process flows, and standard work.
• Lead process improvements to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and throughput.
• Support capital projects from planning through startup and commissioning.
