GlobalFoundries Fab 8 in Malta, NY invites a highly motivated Process & Equipment Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to work with a skilled engineering team in a 300mm fab. You will support reducing process variability, detect issues early, and collaborate across equipment, maintenance, and production teams to drive improvements.

The program emphasizes mentorship, hands-on project work, and exposure to AI-enabled productivity tools, with a focus on safe, sustainable manufacturing practices.

Formación

• Sophomore status and pursuing a Bachelor’s in an engineering field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Responsabilidades

• Reduce variability in process recovery procedures.
• Increase ability to detect problems earlier; enhance LOD.
• Reduce chemical costs and/or qualification wafers.
• Standardize processes across similar equipment.
• Enhance process performance measurement techniques.
• Lead improvement projects and present results.
• Collaborate with equipment and maintenance teams in a dynamic environment.
