Job summary

Faremouth & Company is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineering Manager to direct and coordinate the processes across our mill and related operations in Buffalo, NY. The role oversees Drives Systems Controls Technicians and supports heat treat/finishing operations with focus on efficiency and waste reduction.

The candidate will lead plant improvement projects, collaborate with operations leaders to set priorities, ensure EPA/OSHA compliance, and drive continuous improvement across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering is required.
• Must have experience with Allen‑Bradley PLC/PAC Controllers.
• At least three (3) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with operations leaders to set and assess project priorities for the facility.
• Review and assess manufacturing operations to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Conduct root cause analysis on operational problems and propose long-term improvements.
• Provide guidance in development and execution of plant improvement projects with outside contractors.
• Assist the Reliability Manager and maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety rules and regulations (EPA and OSHA).
• Participate in efficiency and continuous improvement projects and project teams.
• Directly supervise and coordinate Drives Systems Controls technicians.
• Prepare and manage the departmental budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
