Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in La Vergne, TN is seeking an operations-support professional to assist Engineering with troubleshooting daily production floor issues, NPI builds, and developing assembly SOPs and visual aids.

You will train Operations on new products, help manage ECNs and reworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process efficiency, reduce cycle times, and boost first-pass yields.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows, MS Excel, and MS Access.

Responsibilities

• Create and Update assembly SOPs for CCBU.
• Assist with NPI builds and help lead activity on production floor to meet TRI date and shipment.
• Assist Engineering with Pre-TRI documentation.
• Create and maintain cable files for CCBU.
• Assist in the implementation of ECN’s and reworks needed for production.
• Provide Training to Operations regarding new products and processes.
• Take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues; able to reason, even when dealing with emotional topics
• Work with cross functional teams to develop and implement process improvement projects.
• Collect, maintain and analyze data and metrics to improve TAT and FPY.
• Assist with resolving Engineering Holds in a timely manner
