Job summary
Timken Company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the Short Cycle Manufacturing model by developing design packages, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to implement changes and provide production-ready documentation.
You will drive NPM and MOC activities, maintain document revision control in PDM, and ensure timely release of controlled documents in TADA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Preferred 1 year of product/process engineering in bearing manufacturing or metalworking.
- Experience with design/engineering tools and data management systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain product/process design packages and drawings for SCM.
- Launch and manage NPM activities and related workflows.
- Lead MOC activities ensuring changes are properly documented.
- Control document revisions in PDM and ensure accessible documentation in TADA.
- Plan and validate tooling to support manufacturing requirements.
- Provide technical leadership for SCM operations and continuous improvement.
