Job summary
Carrier in Charlotte, NC is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support daily production, analyze processes, troubleshoot issues, and lead cross-functional improvement projects that boost productivity and product quality. You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Materials, Maintenance and Engineering to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Productivity (SQDCP).
This second shift role emphasizes Lean principles, visual management, and sustaining standard work while driving cost
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- 2+ years in engineering, manufacturing, or operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily engineering support to manufacturing operations.
- Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, process, and assembly issues impacting production.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Support launch and stabilization of new products, processes, and equipment.
- Partner with Operations and Maintenance to improve equipment uptime and process reliability.
- Identify opportunities to improve labor efficiency, throughput, quality, safety, and ergonomics.
