Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a engineering discipline and related experience.
• 1–5 years hands-on manufacturing experience with equipment/improvement projects (internships OK).
• Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing experience preferred; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and complete manufacturing, process, and machinery projects focusing on equipment optimization and quality at the source.
• Incorporate Continuous Improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean) into projects and SOPs.
• Perform feasibility studies for paper conversion machinery and related equipment.
• Analyze layouts, capacity, flow, and methods to boost efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Monitor OEE, MTBF, and MTBR; identify breakdowns and critical needs.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve equipment reliability; use CMMS and predictive tools.
