Job summary

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer II to join the Audio Video Division in Minnetonka, MN. This role supports manufacturing operations and covers technical, quality, and process responsibilities. You'll work closely with various teams to improve safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in engineering and 3+ years in an electro-mechanical assembly environment. Must be able to lead quality analysis and enhance manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years engineering experience in an electro-mechanical assembly environment.
• Experience with ECO processes.
• Experience with PCBAs and firmware workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support operations with day-to-day technical issues.
• Lead new product/process introductions.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong mechanical aptitude

Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Ability to interpret standards and specifications

Basic understanding of embedded programming

Lean manufacturing principles knowledge

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Self-motivated

Ability to train and motivate employees

Strong time management skills

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, manufacturing, industrial engineering
