Job summary

MEPPI's Switchgear Division (SWGD) seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer I to support development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, products, and production methods. You will liaise with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and suppliers to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality while introducing new technologies.

You'll lead process design and tooling improvements, assist with BOMs, support NPI, maintain assembly procedures in QUINTERRA,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• Experience reading and creating technical drawings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as cross-functional liaison between Design, Manufacturing and Quality to support improvements.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment.
• Drive cost reductions, quality gains, and operational efficiency through CI.
• Investigate and resolve assembly and production issues with cross-team collaboration.
• Coordinate BOMs and Bills of Manufacture to support product/process changes.
• Maintain assembly procedures and manufacturing documentation, including QUINTERRA.
• Support New Product Introduction and transition of new products to production.
• Collaborate across the division to deliver technical expertise and project execution.
• Promote quality, safety, and adherence to MEPPI policies.
