K-Line Industries, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing/process engineer to organize complex activities for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of engineering projects related to the production of materials and the efficiency of the manufacturing process.

You will create programs and design fixtures/templates for multiple machines in the facility. Under general direction, you will plan and perform moderately complex projects, oversee maintenance software, and perform MTConnect

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Engineering or Design.
  • 1+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong mechanical design aptitude.
  • Strong literacy with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Interpersonal and mechanical aptitude necessary to deal effectively with a variety of departments.

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $73,000.00 Annually

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective

The manufacturing/process engineer position is responsible for organizing highly complex activities for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of engineering projects regarding the production of materials and efficiency of the manufacturing process. Creating programs and designing fixtures/templates for multiple machines in the facility. This role will also oversee maintenance software and perform administrator duties for MTConnect. Under general direction while using engineering principles and concepts, this position will plan and perform moderately complex projects.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However, on some instances this job may require work in areas where ear protection is necessary.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
