STULZ USA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to partner with engineering and production to develop, qualify, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and methods. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity improvements across operations.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, with hands-on knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma, CAD/CAM, and SAP manufacturing software.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Lean/Six Sigma in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience required.
  • Familiar with CAD/CAM, MES/SAP, and MS Office tools; PLC/CNC programming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, qualify, continuously improve, and document manufacturing processes and methods.
  • Interface with Safety, Quality, Sales, Design Engineering, and Production to ensure on-time delivery and satisfaction.
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma to reduce waste, variation, lead-time, and costs across manufacturing, office, and field services.
  • Lead projects introducing new products, processes, and technologies across operations.

Job description

The Manufacturing Engineer works with engineering and production resources to develop, qualify, continuously improve, and document manufacturing processes and methods. The Manufacturing Engineer proactively supports manufacturing operations to improve Safety, Quality, and Productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop, qualify, continuously improve, and document manufacturing processes and methods.
  • Interface with Safety, Quality, Sales, Design Engineering, and Production teams to ensure manufacturing processes are capable of customer on-time delivery and satisfaction.
  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methods and techniques to eliminate waste and reduce process variation to improve on-time delivery, reduce lead-time, and reduce costs of manufacturing, office, and field service processes and deliverables.
  • Lead projects to introduce new products, processes and technologies throughout manufacturing operations.
Qualifications:
  • Discrete manufacturing
  • Lean Continuous Improvement in a Custom Configured, High Mix – Low Volume, Make-to-Order business
  • PLC and CNC programming for machine control
  • CAD/CAM and MS software products
  • Sheet Metal fabrication, welding, pipe brazing, powder coating, wiring, and assembly processes familiarity
  • SAP manufacturing software compitency
  • EH&S and IT knowledge
  • ISO Quality systems and requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • PMP Certification
  • ASQ QE Certification
Language Skills:
  • Ability to read and understand English instructions
Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to read and understand English instructions
