Job summary

Flexcraft is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer with extrusion blow molding experience to help improve performance, reduce scrap, and support new product launches.

You will work on extrusion blow molding processes, optimize cycle times, and partner with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to implement permanent improvements for a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of process engineering experience in plastics manufacturing.
• Hands-on extrusion blow molding experience preferred.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize production processes.
• Strong understanding of materials, tooling, and molding equipment.
• Experience with SPC, DOE, or Six Sigma tools is a plus.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Extrusion blow molding processes
• Polymer materials and process parameters
• Cycle time, scrap reduction, and productivity improvements
• Tooling, molds, and equipment performance

• Comfortable working on the production floor—not just at a desk

Work Environment & Schedule

This is an onsite, hands‑on role supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation.

The position requires regular presence on the production floor and alignment with 12-hour production shifts as needed to support troubleshooting, process improvements, and key production activities.

This structure allows you to be closer to the process, respond in real time, and make faster, more effective improvements—not just analyze problems after the fact.

A typical day could include troubleshooting a process issue on the floor, running a trial, and working directly with operators to stabilize and improve performance.
