Job summary

Electric Materials is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to design, document and optimize manufacturing processes across multiple product lines. You will lead validation, DOE projects, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure throughput, quality and cost targets are met.

The role requires hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with opportunities to mentor teams and influence processes from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience required
• Knowledge of validation principles and quality systems
• Experience with blueprint reading and 3-D modeling
• Ability to lead DOE and process improvement initiatives
• Strong problem-solving and team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Design, document, evaluate and support manufacturing processes to facilitate throughput and quality
• Establish work instructions, FMEA, standard work, and control plans
• Design testing methods and validate finished goods
• Lead DOE initiatives and other process improvements
• Determine root causes using statistics and recommend changes
• Improve material flow and layout to optimize production
• Support production programs to minimize downtime and improve quality
• Act as technical advisor to stakeholders
• Prepare drawings and tools for manufacturing processes
• Support set-up and debugging for new applications
• Grow within the company
