Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• PFMEA experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design.
• Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with ability to build relationships.
• Process Automation and AutoCAD or similar design software experience.
• Hands-on experience in CNC systems, laser cutting systems, Panel Benders, troubleshooting knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with Oracle systems preferred.
• Growth mindset – desire to expand technical skillset.
• Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer-focus.
• Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines; relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Resolve manufacturing process and design problems; investigations and corrective actions.
• Create cost-effective, safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve operations.
• Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, costs, and quality.
• Uphold standards: machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.
• Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source.
• Voice the customer input for new design development.
• Develop and document manufacturing processes for Laser cutting, CNC, Panel Benders, Fin Presses.
• Partner with on-site EHS to ensure safety compliance with OSHA.
