Job summary

Elanco in Kansas is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support design, operation, control and optimization of assets at our Elwood facility. You will serve as a subject matter expert in process and equipment, involved in development, data analysis, troubleshooting, technology transfer, and continuous improvement activities.

The role requires collaboration, strong problem-solving, and delivering capital projects from scope to validation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological or related engineering discipline.
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or a related industry.
Self-motivated team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision and working knowledge of cGMP standards.

Responsibilities

Provide Technical and On-Floor Support for Process and Equipment: troubleshooting, on-floor assistance, and CAPA documentation.
Ensure Equipment Qualification and Compliance: keep systems fit-for-use with formal change control.
Drive Performance and Process Optimization Through Data Analysis: monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Lead and Support Full Lifecycle of Capital Projects: design, develop, execute, and validate capital projects.
Develop and Manage Technical Documentation and Risk Mitigation: create UxR specs, P&IDs, safety assessments, qualification protocols.
