Job summary

Xylem in Yellow Springs, OH, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to design and optimize production lines, select and install equipment, and lead cost-reduction and quality initiatives.   • Aptitude for troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes and continuously improve current processes.
  • Perform design reviews for manufacturability of new products.
  • Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on failed parts or products and address defects.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and monitor production efficiencies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams; prepare project plans and schedules.
  • Collect and analyze data; prepare reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and perform safety audits.
  • Train and mentor new employees on processes and equipment.
