Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to design and optimize industrial processes at our Yellow Springs site. You will help eliminate bottlenecks, select and install equipment, and perform manufacturability reviews for new products.

You will lead root-cause analyses, audits, and cost-reduction initiatives while ensuring quality and safety. This on-site role targets cross-functional collaboration and data-driven improvements in water technology manufacturing.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering or related field with 2+ years experience.
• Proficiency in manufacturing software tools (CAD/CAM, PLM) and lean principles.
• Strong understanding of materials, machining, assembly, and process control.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve manufacturing processes and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Select and install appropriate equipment for processes and oversee maintenance.
• Perform root cause analysis and conduct process/product audits for quality.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency.

We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.Responsibilities: Process Design and Improvement • Implement efficient manufacturing processes • Identify and eliminate potential production bottlenecks • Continuously improve current manufacturing processes• Perform design reviews on new products for manufacturability Equipment Management • Select and recommend appropriate equipment for manufacturing processes • Oversee installation and commissioning of new equipment • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues Quality Assurance • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on failed parts or products.
