Actalent seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop, plan, implement and continuously improve manufacturing methods for precision aerospace components in a Manchester, CT facility. We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support the development, planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for precision aerospace components. This role is responsible for establishing manufacturing methods, supporting production operations, coordinating internal and external processing activities, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and aerospace quality standards.

The Manufacturing Process Engineer serves as a key link between Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and outside suppliers to improve process performance, optimize manufacturing flow, and support operational objectives related to quality, delivery, and cost.

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting manufacturing engineering or process engineering activities within a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting aerospace components, flight-critical hardware, or other highly regulated products.


• Experience processing manufactured products from raw material through final production.


• Familiarity with Siemens NX, Mastercam, or similar CAD/CAM software.


• Experience coordinating machining, heat treat, coatings, non-destructive testing (NDT), finishing operations, or comparable manufacturing processes.


• Familiarity with aerospace quality systems including AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP requirements.


• Experience supporting external processing vendors and special process suppliers.


• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, or continuous improvement initiatives.


• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.


• Experience supporting cross-functional manufacturing teams focused on quality, delivery, and operational excellence.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $87000.00 - $110000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
