An established industrial manufacturer is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer with hands-on CAM/CNC programming experience. You’ll develop clearer manufacturing methods, solve production problems, and help introduce new equipment while remaining directly involved in programming and shop-floor execution.
Learn existing production methods and turn operator knowledge into clear work instructions.
Create CAM programs from 3D models and support CNC setup, prove-out, and validation.
Develop repeatable processes, setup documentation, and effective tooling and fixturing approaches.
Partner with production and quality teams to resolve machining and molding issues.
Improve process consistency, reduce defects, and support new equipment implementation.
Meaningful manufacturing engineering responsibility in a production setting; five or more years preferred.
Direct experience creating CAM programs and proving them out on CNC equipment.
Experience documenting, standardizing, and improving manufacturing processes.
Practical knowledge of machining, tooling, fixturing, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
The ability to build rapport with operators and organize process information that is not yet fully documented.
Availability for onsite work in Telford.
An engineering degree or substantial relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
Experience with SolidWorks CAM, Fusion, or a comparable CAM platform.
Exposure to CNC equipment introduction, plastics, composites, or molding.
Take ownership of improvements that operators use every day.
Combine technical programming with practical problem-solving and process development.
Contribute to manufacturing modernization without direct-report responsibilities.
Work a typical 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule, with some flexibility; generally 40 hours per week, occasionally approximately 45.
