Under supervision, you will develop process formulations, analyze key measures, and lead improvements. The role requires a four-year engineering degree and 3+ years of engineering support experience with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team and play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the production of world-class materials in a safe and collaborative environment.
Principal Purpose of Position: Under general supervision, develops and modifies process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards. Recommends and implements improvements, modifications or additions which will document work; tests and solves problems. Reviews product requirements with product development compatibility of processing methods to determine costs and schedules. Lead the analysis of key process measures and determine major issues and their root causes and implement effective solutions. Lead the implementation of plans, actions, and measurements to achieve goals and objectives. Lead the development and implementation of strategies for health, safety and environmental matters, and understand the impact of regulatory compliance issues. Provide expertise, input and guidance as well as sound problem solving to cross functional teams. May review proposals of outside vendors regarding the purchase of new or modernization of existing production/processing equipment. Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Education and Experience: Four-year college degree in an Engineering discipline required Three or more years’ experience in an engineering support position required
Relevant Work Experience: Possesses a practical understanding of engineering principles, standards, methods and practices. Proficient in MS Office products. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions to manage the flow of work. The ideal candidate will require strong written and verbal communication skills on a highly technical level, have strong technical writing and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment. Ability to work within guidelines of standard operating procedures as well as management direction to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
