Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with process improvement, troubleshooting, or new product implementation.
  • 5+ years of experience in process, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering (or strong internships/co-ops).

Responsibilities

  • Travel occasionally as needed to support projects.
  • Plan project activities, timelines, priorities, and resource needs.
  • Manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Support manufacturing engineering activities and new product introduction.
  • Develop and implement process improvements and manufacturing solutions.
  • Analyze existing processes and recommend corrective actions and improvements.
  • Lead projects related to new product implementation and manufacturing process development.
  • Communicate project status, challenges, and deadlines with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve manufacturing, process, and product issues using sound engineering judgment.
  • Use project management tools such as Gantt charts, resource planning, and constraint management.
  • Work with customers and vendors to gather information, provide updates, and resolve project obstacles.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with process improvement, troubleshooting, or new product implementation.
  • 5+ years of experience in process, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering or strong entry‑level engineering experience with relevant internships/co‑ops.
Nice‑to‑Haves:
  • Glass manufacturing or fabrication experience (cutting, seaming, machining, screen printing)
  • Experience with project management tools (Gantt charts, resource planning, constraint management)
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with technical data, measurements, documentation, and small components.
  • Experience in advanced manufacturing, photonics, precision materials, or similar high‑tolerance production environments.
