Qualifications

• Experience designing or troubleshooting automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with pneumatics, solenoids, and some PLC programming is highly beneficial.
• Experience creating and maintaining 2D part/assembly drawings; basic drawing/tolerancing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and create new assembly/test fixtures and inspection gauges.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of current manufacturing equipment.
• Train and work with production associates.
• Communicate with the engineering design team.
• Generate and implement ideas to improve processes.
• Create operator work instructions for new equipment and processes.
• Prepare ROI presentations for new equipment purchases.
