Entegris in San Luis Obispo is hiring a Manufacturing POU Technician I to build purifier subassemblies, test units, and ensure visual and dimensional conformity to specifications. You will follow work orders, record results, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while meeting production timelines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and up to one year of mechanical assembly experience, with the ability to lift 50 lbs, use hand tools, and work overtime as required.

• 0-1 years' experience in mechanical assembly or related work.
• Ability to learn to navigate BOMs, drawings and work instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs daily and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail to drive safety and product quality.
• Willingness to overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble purifier subassemblies per drawings and process records with supervision.
• Build products to released specifications and visually verify quality.
• Test purifiers for leaks and ensure packaging per specifications.
• Complete 6S housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Finalize paperwork such as production orders and logs in a timely manner.
• Support team and duties as assigned to meet production goals.

Manufacturing POU Technician I

Job Description

Our site in San Luis Obispo is seeking a Point of Use Technician to join our team. The Point of use Purifier Technician 1 position is responsible for performing tasks related to building our point of use Purifiers. This includes but not limited to manufacturing various subassemblies to engineering specifications, testing finished products, Product safety labeling and conducting Quality visual inspections. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions.

What You'll Do:

• Performs various operations on the product in accordance with the work orders, process record instructions and photographic library with supervision.
• Build products to the released drawings, verifies product visually, ensures product is consistent with established specifications with supervision.
• Responsible for the aesthetics symmetry of the product, using a variety of methods which may include etching, bead blasting, cleaning and labeling of purifier.
• Test purifiers by preforming leak checks following SEMI S2 specifications.
• Ensures all products are packaged per packaging specifications.
• Finalizes all required paperwork thoroughly and timely (i.e. Production orders, POU logs, Labels, etc.).
• Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.
• Prioritize work to maintain or increase On-Time Shipments in accordance with lead/managers direction.
• Use various hand tools to complete tasks assigned.
• Complete 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) as directed.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment. Performs duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety procedures. Communicates potential hazards immediately to supervisor.
• Work with a team as well as independently when needed.
• Any other duties as assigned.

• Ability to use and computer and learn basic data entry
