Job summary

TEEMA Group is seeking a Manufacturing Planning Systems Administrator in McMinnville, Oregon to manage and optimize our ERP/MRP configurations and master data supporting production planning, inventory control, and shop-floor execution.

You will partner with Production, Operations, Engineering, Inventory, and Quality teams, translate manufacturing requirements into system settings, train users, and drive continuous improvement of manufacturing data integrity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ERP/MRP administration in a discrete manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of BOMs, routings, work orders, MRP logic and inventory control.
• Experience with master data cleansing and maintenance.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and pull systems.
• Ability to translate manufacturing requirements into practical system configurations and processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary functional administrator for the manufacturing ERP/MRP system.
• Configure and maintain ERP/MRP functionality for planning, inventory, work orders, and shop-floor execution.
• Maintain master data like BOMs, routings, work centers, item masters, and lead times.

Overview:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Planning Systems Administrator to manage and optimize the ERP/MRP systems, configurations, and master data supporting production planning, inventory control, and manufacturing operations. This role partners with Production, Operations, Engineering, Inventory, and Quality teams to translate manufacturing requirements into effective ERP/MRP configurations and processes. The ideal candidate combines hands-on manufacturing knowledge with strong ERP/MRP functional expertise.

What you will be doing:

• Serve as the primary functional administrator for the manufacturing ERP/MRP system.


• Configure and maintain ERP/MRP functionality supporting production planning, inventory management, work orders, material requirements, and shop-floor execution.


• Maintain and improve manufacturing master data, including BOMs, routings, work centers, item masters, lead times, and planning parameters.


• Translate manufacturing processes and planning requirements into effective system configurations and workflows.


• Establish and maintain consistent ERP transaction standards, workflows, field definitions, and order statuses.


• Identify and eliminate manual workarounds, redundant data entry, inaccurate data, and inefficient system processes.


• Partner with Production, Engineering, Inventory, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot system and process issues.


• Train and support users on ERP/MRP processes, transactions, and best practices.


• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing systems, production planning, and data integrity.

What you must have:

• 3+ years of experience administering, configuring, or functionally supporting ERP/MRP systems in a discrete manufacturing environment.


• Strong knowledge of manufacturing ERP/MRP functionality, including BOMs, routings, work orders, MRP logic, production planning, and inventory control.


• Experience managing, cleansing, and maintaining manufacturing master data.


• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing, pull systems, WIP management, inventory planning, and shop-floor operations.


• Ability to translate manufacturing requirements into practical system configurations and processes.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.


• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.
