Description

Basic Function: Work with transformer factories across North America to manage and improve their planning and scheduling processes. Drive training and standardization in Sales and Operations Planning, Master Planning, and detailed scheduling processes throughout the organization.

Responsibilities for Planning/S&OP Process Leader include, but are not limited to:

  1. Train and coach Demand Planners, Operations Planners, Master Schedule Planners, and Material Planners. Develop organizational competency and contribute to establishing standards and best practices.
  2. Provide training and assist in developing standard processes and best practices.
  3. Monitor factory execution of standard work, develop dashboards, and track schedule execution, load leveling, and capacity analysis.
  4. Participate in factory S&OP meetings to drive standardization and ensure active participation and compliance.
  5. Ensure timely and accurate information flow from product review to demand review and operations review. Verify the consistency of all information used in the S&OP processes.
  6. Monitor KPIs related to the S&OP process, work with contributors to improve the process, and ensure it aligns with business priorities.
  7. Drive ITM initiatives throughout the organization and assist in training RCCM analysis skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten years manufacturing experience.
  • ERP experience, preferably in the PP module.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within a global value chain.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Above-average Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Effective communicator and team player.
  • Organized with a sense of urgency when needed.
  • Proactive in driving projects and leading teams.
  • Employs root cause analysis.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to quality.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering, with at least 10 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and proven accomplishments.
