Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs invites interns to participate in a comprehensive manufacturing planning internship/co-op program designed to expose students to real-world steel production planning. You will build schedules, manage WIP, and collaborate across Sales, Operations, and Accounting to optimize customer delivery and efficiency.

You'll use Excel and SQL Server to retrieve and validate data, generate standard reports, and support the monthly and annual forecast process.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in BS in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• Completion of sophomore year by summer 2027

Responsibilities

• Build production schedules to support customer delivery expectations
• Manage WIP inventories
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and accounting for planning and expediting orders
• Automate Excel tasks and maintain automated reports
• Support monthly/annual production forecast planning process
• Provide detailed analyses and storytelling to highlight issues and required actions
• Assisti with delivery improvement initiatives
