Veeco Instruments Inc. is seeking an execution‑driven Planner/Scheduler – Manufacturing to support manufacturing operations for existing products at our Somerset, NJ facility.

This role owns short‑term schedules, work order execution, and responds to daily shop floor changes to ensure on‑time delivery. You will collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors, Production Managers, and Supply Chain partners, balance priorities, recover at‑risk work orders, and drive schedule discipline with SAP MRP and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Manufacturing Planning, Scheduling, or Production Control.
• Experience in electromechanical equipment manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own daily work order management in SAP.
• Execute and adjust short-term production schedules.
• Monitor open, in-process, and late work orders.
• Address material shortages and capacity constraints.
• Ensure accurate SAP data (status, lead times, priorities).
• Coordinate with Manufacturing to align priorities.
• Respond to MRP exception messages.
• Support ECNs and MRB dispositions.
• Communicate status updates and risks.
