Job summary

ERock in Houston is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Planner to streamline production schedules and material requirements for high-quality microgrid systems. You will connect manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery.

Your responsibilities include analyzing production data, monitoring work-in-progress, and collaborating across departments. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency in ERP/MRP software. A diverse environment is promoted at ERock.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of manufacturing planning, scheduling, or materials management experience.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and production documents.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production schedules, material requirements, and manufacturing workflows.
  • Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and adjust schedules as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders.

What You’ll Do

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Planner to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate production schedules, material requirements, and manufacturing workflows to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high‑quality microgrid systems. You will serve as the link between manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and manufacturing capacity.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
  • Monitor work‑in-progress (WIP) and adjust schedules to address delays, bottlenecks, or changes in demand.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to resolve manufacturing issues and support product launches.
  • Review and analyze production data to identify trends, capacity constraints, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare and distribute daily/weekly production status reports.
  • Ensure all planning activities align with company quality standards, safety procedures, and EROCK Core Values.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing planning, scheduling, or materials management experience.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP software (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and production documents.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
  • Ability to balance big‑picture production goals with day‑to‑day detail management.
