Responsibilities

• Create and update the production schedule and pivot to accommodate customer requests
• Communicate production status updates to customers and internal teams
• Ensure order requirements and details are understood and conveyed to production
• Review on-hand inventory and create work orders to drive demand
• Create work order packets and keep information up-to-date per customer requirements and material consumption
• Track order status using ERP data and reports
• Maintain records of production progress, inventory consumption, and customer requirements
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet ship dates and delivery commitments
• Comply with safety regulations and quality SOPs
• Manage and resolve inquiries, complaints, and service requests with a solutions-oriented approach
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships with top-level service
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Planner is an advanced position which supports the organization by ensuring seamless communication, accurate order processing, and high service standards. This role will be the primary liaison between customers, the production team, and other internal departments, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled on time and at the highest level of quality. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Creating and updating the production schedule as needed while maintaining flexibility to pivot as needed to accommodate customer requests
• Communicating production status updates in a clear and professional manner to customers and internal teams
• Ensuring order requirements, specifications, and details are fully understood and conveyed to the production team
• Reviewing on hand inventory and creating work orders to drive demand
• Creating work order packets and ensuring all information is relevant and up-to-date per customer requirements and material consumption
• Tracking order status and providing up-to-date information by navigating and reviewing ERP system data and reports
• Maintaining thorough records of production progress, inventory consumption, and customer requirements
• Coordinating with multiple internal departments to provide a smooth and efficient flow of orders to production to ensure ship dates and delivery commitments are met
• Complying with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment
• Adhering to quality standards per the Quality Management System and following SOPs
• Managing and resolving internal and external customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly and professionally by addressing issues with a solution-oriented approach
• Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships by providing top-level service
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Compensation

Up to $23.00 per hour

Qualifications, Knowledge, & Skills

• Familiarity with all duties and expectations of the Manufacturing Coordinator position
• Minimum 1 year’s experience in customer service
• Thrive in fast-paced office with ability to multi-task
• Highly adept in mathematics and problem-solving
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, & Excel
• Commitment to quality and safety standards
• Ability to communicate clearly with teammates and provide written instructions to address production needs
• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong initiative and work ethic
• Experience with NetSuite is highly desirable
• High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent is required

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
