Job description

We will be accepting applications through June 22, 2026 or until filled.

As a key member of Gogo's Supply Chain organization, the Manufacturing Planner is responsible for orchestrating the master production schedule in alignment with the broader supply chain strategy to ensure the timely delivery of our industry-leading in-flight connectivity products. This role serves as a critical, data-driven liaison among our Sales, Purchasing, Production, Logistics, Engineering, and Quality teams.

The ideal candidate is an experienced and analytical planner with a talent for cross-functional collaboration, capable of translating complex sales forecasts and supply chain data into actionable production schedules that directly support customer requirements and company objectives.

COME ON BOARD THE GOGO SUPPLY CHAIN TEAM!

How will you make a difference?
  • Own and manage the 12-month rolling production plan, translating sales forecasts into a comprehensive strategy for material, capacity, and inventory
  • Define and maintain inventory policies, including safety stock levels, reorder points, and lot sizes, to optimize the balance between material availability and working capital
  • Partner with the Sales organization to align customer demand with production capability, strategically managing order fulfillment priorities and collaboratively developing solutions for order rescheduling or reallocation as required
  • Proactively analyze material availability against production schedules to identify and mitigate shortage risks before they impact the production line
  • Translate the master production schedule into actionable work orders, ensuring manufacturing teams have clear, timely direction
  • Bridge the gap between planning and procurement by translating complex ERP-generated requirements and developing simplified tools to ensure the Purchasing team executes purchase orders with accuracy and confidence
  • Drive daily cross-functional collaboration with shop floor management, logistics, and purchasing teams to align on production priorities, manage schedule changes, and elevate critical issues when necessary
  • Serve as the supply chain lead for Engineering Change Order (ECO) implementation, analyzing impacts and managing the seamless transition of parts and revisions into production
  • Strategically plan the depletion of outgoing components and the introduction of substitutes to minimize inventory obsolescence and support engineering changes
  • Develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for production progress, WIP, and inventory levels to drive data-informed decisions and process improvements
  • Own the integrity of core planning parameters within the ERP system, such as lead times, bill of materials (BOMs), and item master data, by regularly auditing data and collaborating with Engineering and Purchasing to ensure accuracy
Qualifications

  • Proven ability to leverage advanced data analysis tools, including expert-level Microsoft Excel and/or Power BI (e.g., Power Query, MCode, DAX, dynamic arrays, tables, and models) for robust planning, reporting, and problem-solving
  • Expertise in core manufacturing data management, including the creation and maintenance of multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and the associated Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes that govern them
  • Experience operating within a formal Quality Management System (QMS), such as ISO 9001 or AS9100
  • A high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently to solve complex problems with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Skills, Talents, & Experience
