PDS Defense, Inc. in Chantilly, VA seeks a Production Supervisor to support manufacturing, assembly, and test of electro-mechanical assemblies. You will work with the Factory Operations Team to execute production tasks per schedules and QMS policies.

You will monitor KPIs, manage WIP, and coordinate with QA on maintenance and calibration, while ensuring adherence to ISO9001/AS9100 and Lean practices.

Formación

• Experience with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 registered QMS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with MES, ERP, MRP software solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work with a diverse workforce.
• US person status or clearance related requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in daily execution of the Build Plan for Factory Operations.
• Play an active role in Daily Tiered Accountability / Management.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the Factory Operations Value Stream.
• Monitor KPIs and collaborate on Return to Green plans.
• Conduct audits and cycle counts of WIP on the shop floor.
• Manage stock of production consumables and Kanban items.
• Enter purchase requisitions for shop supplies and services.
• Ensure adherence to the Mercury Systems QMS procedures.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance on maintenance and calibration tasks.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, forms, and records.
• Support various areas: inventory stocking, kitting, assembly, test, packaging.
• Assist with Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions.
