Florida Turbine Technologies (FTT) in Jupiter, Florida, is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Sr Associate Engineer with 2–5 years of turbomachinery, jet engine, or related experience. The role offers growth toward technical expert or IPT lead responsibilities within a high-tech aerospace environment.

The position involves interfacing with purchasing, design, manufacturing, and quality teams; setting schedules; and driving manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• 2–5 years of similar engine experience (turbomachinery, jet engines, automotive) preferred.
• Ability to interpret CAD models and drawings; experience with manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain Bills of Materials (BoMs) and manage manufacturing-related activities.
• Interface with Quality Engineering to ensure compliance with procedures and disposition non-conforming material.
• Act as interface between purchasing, design, manufacturing and quality; set project schedules and provide status updates.
• Collaborate with suppliers and document lessons learned for design-for-manufacturing improvements.
