Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead a skilled production team at Arsenal-01 in Columbus, OH, with a potential three-month training stint in Costa Mesa, CA. You will drive production ramp for multiple hardware platforms, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and collaborate across Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain.

The role emphasizes NPI experience, LEAN practices, and building a strong, high-performance culture while managing daily operations

Qualifications

7+ years in production-oriented roles with 3+ years in supervision.
Experience with ERP and MES systems.
Understanding of product life cycle from NPI to scaled production; LEAN and ECOs.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
Experience collaborating with designers and engineers.
Highly reliable, organized, and detail-oriented with strong communication.
Passion for employee development and training.
Proven skills in process and equipment troubleshooting.
Knowledge of 5S/lean/6-Sigma principles.
MS Office proficiency.
Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Manage technician staff in the production and delivery of AD&S hardware through factory acceptance.
Set priorities and direct daily operations, including issuing work orders to the production floor.
Ensure operators follow safety procedures and that training is current; document incidents and improve hazards.
Coach, mentor, and support production technicians.
Prioritize work activities to achieve on-time delivery goals.
Ensure quality standards and no defects leaving stations.
Own the culture on the line and build a strong team.
Provide clear reports to Production Managers, Director of Manufacturing Operations, and Head of Manufacturing.
Participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities.
Complete transactions in NetSuite, JIRA, and Anduril MES daily.
Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain.
Provide weekly production progress reports and daily pass-downs.
Lead daily communication with cross-functional teams.
Build a positive, collaborative team culture.
Show up with urgency, ownership, and enthusiasm.
